K-Days has rolled into Edmonton! From July 20th-29th you can enjoy, rides, games, food and all sorts of entertainment with the kids. We were excited to head down on opening day to have some fun in the sun!
The Rides
f you plan on riding more than a couple of rides the RAD pass is the way to go! For $51 you will receive an all day ride pass which lets you go on as many rides as you like. This is a great idea if you plan on heading down with the kids as they will want to go on everything, well at least mine did!
Our 10 year old wanted to ride all the rides, but our 6 year old was still to scared for most of them. They have a smaller kids area for rides as well, I really liked that they are all grouped together. These rides were perfect for kids 10 and under, my children went on quite a few in this area! The merry go round and the dragon coaster were favorites but there was lots to choose from.
Kids Activities
We ventured inside for a break from the sun and found lots to do in Kids Town! This kids play area is FREE and has lots of fun activities including a giant coloring board, jumbo bubbles, a bouncy castle, and live interactions with kids characters. We were able to have a visit with Paw Patrol while inside!
The Food
So many great options for food this year at K-Days. Some of our favorites included Tiffin Fresh Kitchen and Northern Chicken, it was nice to see some local restaurants out there this year! Of course there is always the classic midway food like cotton candy, caramel apples and corn dogs to enjoy.
We tried some new menu items including watermelon ice cream served in a watermelon and garlic Parmesan freak fries. Both were equally delicious!
Looking to save money on food? Try sharing all those yummy treats during your visit! We’ve always done this so we can try more foods and save some money. Sharing is caring!
The Experience
The K-Days experience is great for families. My kids spent hours riding the rides, playing in Kids Town, eating all the delicious food and taking in some shows. We were able to catch a magic show and some dog tricks which were both entertaining! Plan to spend hours on the grounds and don’t forget to wear some comfortable shoes for all that walking!
