We lucked out in Edmonton this year with the late arrival of snow, but this week it finally decided to show up! I always love the first big snowfall, it’s like being in a giant snow globe! For as long as I can remember my kids have been wearing Appaman winter coats, I would buy them every year because they are so warm and cozy for our cold Canadian winters. I’m always looking for stylish kids clothes (including outerwear) and Appaman knocks it out of the park every season!
The Sloan Puffer Coat in this beautiful Aubergine colour is my favourite this season. I LOVE the colour and the cozy fluffy lining this jacket has. The diamond quilted style stands out from a crowd and also comes in black and a fun metallic gold colour with a removable fur trim. I just love this pretty purple colour on Quinn, and she loves how cozy it is for those cold winter days!
Logan is going to be stylin’ in the Base Camp Puffer this winter. Available in 4 colours this season, it’s perfect for a daily winter jacket for the kid who’s always on the go. It’s perfect for trips to the hockey rink or heading out with friends. I love the matte Grey Heather colour for something different!
Quinn’s favourite jacket this season is the Puffy Coat in the Silver Hearts print! Appaman’s best selling style year after year comes in 16 different colours and prints this season! We love the lightweight yet warm design of this jacket and have bought it over the years for Logan as well. It’s great for both boys and girls! We’ve paired it with the Tendril Hat in black (also available in purple) and the Aviana Dress. This dress is perfect for our cold winters because it’s cozy, cuddly soft and pairs perfectly with a pair of black leggings!
For a more sophisticated city style we chose the New Gotham Coat for Logan in the Vintage Black colour (also available in Navy). We paired it with denim and a simple black hoodie for a more casual look. You could also go with a suit for a more dressed up style this holiday season because this jacket is completely versatile for any look. I love the longer style and that it is lightweight yet warm for all weather conditions. We paired it with the Bondo Hat for a more casual style for winter.
For a go to daily winter jacket, the Long Down Coat is a great option for girls. It’s a longer length making it a great option for dresses or jeans, and it’s available in 4 colours this season. We LOVE the cranberry colour for Quinn, it pairs well with denim and leggings that she often wears! It is also water repellant and has a faux fur trim. We have had this jacket the last couple of years for our daughter and found it to be a great option for cold winters in Canada, it was also very durable and lasted her two winters with the same coat! We paired it with the Pricilla Mitten (available in two colours) that are lined in fleece to keep Quinn’s hands warm this winter.
