In my attempt to spend more time on self care, one of the biggest changes I have made is allowing myself downtime. I know this may seem silly to some but I literally never stop and just do nothing! I am always on the go, multi tasking at all hours of the day, by the end of it I am physically exhausted every single night. The crazy thing about it is I feel guilty if I am not doing anything so that is why I am always go go go!

Allowing myself downtime hasn’t been easy but I find if I set the mood so to speak it helps. Loungewear has become a big part of this routine for me, being comfortable helps me relax!
I recently discovered a new brand to me called Paper Label, a Canadian based loungewear company located in Deep Cove British Columbia. Paper Label was created by women for women, designed to move through your day from sleep to street. The line was made for women who seek comfort without compromising their personal style.
Tencel is the main fabric they use throughout their collection. It creates a luxurious soft feel and drapes well on any body. It also is a great moisture wicking fabric which adds to the comfort of both day and night wear. I love that shrinking is not an issue with this fabric!

The Looks

I received a selection of Paper Label separates in the mail and I absolutely love them all. The styles mix and match perfectly and this seasons colours are fantastic! I love having mix and match items in my wardrobe allowing me to change up the look in several different ways. Here are a few of the combinations I love together.

Tank tops and stripes are my go to so I loved this Viola Stripe Tank when I saw it, it’s like it was made for me! The length is perfect and very flattering with it’s curved hi-low hem. I’ve paired it with the Rylie Tencel Jogger which are casual, soft and perfect for relaxing. They have an exposed elastic waistline and gathering at the bottom for a slim fit look which I love since I usually choose leggings or skinny jeans.

It’s nice to have a long sleeve option no matter what season it is to stay warm. The Rachelle Long Sleeve Tencel top is ultra flattering the way it is cut and it’s a perfect match to any of the pants in the Paper Label line. I also love that it makes a great layering piece! I paired this top with the Florie Tencel Crop Pant in a pretty Ocean Blue colour. They are a simple crop pant with a ribbed drawstring waistband and cuffed hem that hits about mid calf length on my 5’7 frame.

The Whitney Soft Jogger is the most popular lounge pant in the Paper Label line, the ultimate in comfort while still being flattering. This pant is perfect for all body types because of its generous fit through the thigh and soft gathering at the waistband and hem. I paired it with the Viola Tencel Tank in the Cloud Mix colour to finish off the look. These tanks would also be great for wearing with jeans under an open cardigan which is my go to look these days!

I can see myself living in this Peyton Knit Jumpsuit, this one can easily be lounge wear or dressed up to wear out of the house! This sweater knit jumpsuit is made from a soft cotton modal yarn with a cinched waist and jogger bottom. I tossed the Cora Long-Zip hoodie on top to finish off my casual look. I love the oversized style of this hoodie, I will definitely be wearing this one a lot this summer while out walking the dog!

This post was written in partnership with Paper Label. I received clothing samples to review. The opinions expressed in this post are based on my honest review of their product line. I am wearing a size Medium in all of the items pictured above. I found the fit to be true to size and perfect for my size 8, 5’7 frame. I cannot say enough good things about all of these lounge wear items, I will be living in them this year!
