It’s bittersweet to be celebrating a milestone at Chatty Girl Media this month while all hell is breaking loose around us. In times like these, owning a marketing agency is a tough job! My team is in constant communication for our clients as events unfold by the hour. It’s our job to get the messaging out to the public and we’ve been working around the clock to make that happen!
It’s also times like these that I’m reminded how great my team at Chatty Girl Media really is. We all work so hard on projects behind the scenes, from blogging to content creation. I am thankful to have Kat and Kerri who work closely with all of our clients as well!
6 years ago I started my second small business and called it Chatty Girl Media. With only a handful of agencies at the time, it was a great opportunity to jump in and get my feet wet. At the time social media marketing was still relatively new. There was not many businesses that had jumped on board with this new form of marketing just yet. I remember working with my first real estate client back then. He was ahead of the curve jumping online to market houses. I could count less than 10 local agents using this form of online marketing, they were all still concentrating on bus benches!
Since then we have collectively worked with hundreds of people and businesses in different industries through this marketing agency. I started with just social media management and expanded my staff and services to include:
- Content Creation
- Photography
- Graphic Design
- Blogging
- Influencer Marketing
- Workshops
- Business Consulting
- Branding
I want to thank each and every one of you that has supported my small business over the years. I can’t believe it’s been 14 years since I became an entrepreneur with my first company Kula Klips! Over time, we’ve been able to help so many businesses big and small in Alberta with their marketing efforts. I’ve made great friendships along the way and appreciate those of you who follow along online and show your support with likes and comments as well! With so much uncertainty in the world right now being an entrepreneur is like a wild roller coaster ride. We have ups and downs but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
