Kelowna has no shortage of pic worthy places, from the beautiful beaches to the walls around town! I love seeking out pic worthy places while travelling, here is a few of my favorites when we visit!
Take A Hike
Literally take a hike! The views from up in the hills are stunning! We spent a lot of time in the hills of Wilden and captured many photos from up above the lake. Early morning was our favorite time to go, the temperature was just right and the sun coming up was breathtaking.
Hit the Beach
Sunsets at the beach are my favorite time to take photos. There are several beaches to choose from, we often head to the one beside the Manteo Resort on Lakeshore drive.
e-taco
Located in the alley just off Bernard Ave you will find this gem of a wall on the patio at e-taco. We stopped by in the morning before they had opened and set up for the day, it’s the best time to go if you want to capture it without tables and chairs! Find it at 211 Bernard Ave in downtown Kelowna.
Hotel Zed
This is my favorite hotel for capturing photos! The colored walls make it so fun and there are multiple colors to choose from! For the past 3 years I have taken the kids to do a photo collage. The best time to visit is on an overcast day to capture the colors of the walls. Find it at 1627 Abbott Street in downtown Kelowna.
Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm
This adorable wall is located just outside the Lavender farm in the parking lot area. They also have multiple locations within the farm for beautiful photos, especially if you want to capture lavender! Find it at 4380 Takla Road.
Jack’s Pizza
Not only do they have great food, they have a killer wall for photos! The atmosphere was rocker chic including the bathrooms with some famous rappers like Tupac on the walls. Find it at 231 Bernard Ave in downtown Kelowna.
The Ogopogo
Legend has it the Ogopogo lives in lake Okanagan and has been spotted over the years by different people claiming to have seen him. Stop by Kerry Park in downtown Kelowna to capture a picture with this famous lake monster.
The Vineyards
There is no shortage of vineyards in the Kelowna area, after all it is wine country! Quails Gate has gorgeous views of the lake from the vineyards which makes it a great setting for taking photos. Find it at 3303 Boucherie Road in West Kelowna.
Purple Mural Wall
This mural wall is nice and bright and makes a great background for photos! Find it behind Hotel Zed in the back alley. Just head through the gates in the parking lot at the hotel to find it.
