Looking for a unique dining experience with friends or co-workers? Look no further than the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel . We recently tried the Chef’s Table Experience at Halo Bar & Bistro with friends and had a great time!
I love dining at the Renaissance Hotel at the Edmonton International Airport . We’ve always had great meals at Halo Bar & Bistro so we were excited to try this Chef’s Table Experience! When booking the dinner there was 4 set menu options for us to choose from. We all decided to go with the Taste of Alberta Menu which included 6 courses plus drink pairings. Each Chef’s Table Experience dinner can accommodate up to 6-8 people.
The Chef’s Table room is located right within the banquet kitchen! The dining area is glassed in so you get a front seat view of the chef preparing your meals. The tv inside the dining room allows you to watch the up close experience while chef prepares your meals! We had our own personal server that brought us down into the kitchen and was very attentive throughout the whole experience as well.
We were welcomed with the Weekly Halo cocktail which was a tasty grapefruit gin spritzer. Each course was paired with a cocktail that was chosen by the chef in order to enhance the flavours of our meal. They included a wide range of cocktails throughout our meal from wines to spirits!

Each course was delicious and included a wide range of dishes throughout our Chef’s Table Dining Experience. The drinks were thoughtfully paired to enhance the flavours throughout our meal. We enjoyed the 2 hour dining experience catching up with our friends while we indulged in delicious meal. We all loved the private ambience and the personalized experience with Executive Sous Chef Moe Eddine. He prepared each course and delivered them to our table. We all loved how he took the time to explain to us what went into every dish.

All of us thoroughly enjoyed the Chef’s Table Experience with the Taste of Alberta Menu. If you are looking for a personalized dining experience I can’t recommend this enough! The Renaissance Airport Hotel is a short drive from the city with parking available right at the hotel. You can even extend your experience with a stay at the hotel after dinner (which isn’t a bad idea after having cocktails)! We love staycations and have stayed at this hotel multiple times which you can read more about here. Thank you to everyone who went over and above to make this a great dining experience for us all. We can’t wait to come back and try a different menu next time!
