I’ve been wanting to update my office for some time now, to give it a fresh modern look. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I wanted to do. From visiting stores in the city to searching the web and social media for ideas, I found a lot of things but couldn’t commit to what I wanted to do.
While visiting the newest lotto home by Macson Homes, I fell in LOVE with a feature wall they had in one of their rooms. It was exactly what I was looking for, a light coloured wood with grey accents, and a good quality product I felt comfortable hanging on our own wall.
I headed to Everything Exterior to find this amazing white wash barnwood! It was super easy to install (I will give the credit to my contractor Milo for that) with a little glue and a couple finishing nails. Their staff was knowledgable and helpful with install instructions and answered all the questions we had. We were also very happy that we didn’t end up with a bunch of extra product, only 1 extra board in the end!
I loved the finished look and it was exactly what I was looking for! I am planning on finishing off the wall with some string and close pins to hang some of my favourite photos on. I take a lot of photos so I am also going to use it as a background for those pictures as well! After being so nervous about hanging something up I am so happy that I did.
